Although Justin Bieber won two awards at the Billboard Music Awards, but it seems the pop star has a long way to go before being taken seriously.The singer was accepting the Milestone Award when the crowd seemed to erupt in boos. Looking a bit confused, Bieber felt the need to defend himself.
"I'm 19 years old. I think I'm doing a pretty good job. And basically, from my heart, I just really want to say it should really be about the music. This is not a gimmick. I'm an artist and I should be taken seriously, and all this other bulls--t should not be spoken of," he said.
It's not the first time Bieber has been booed. He's previously encountered a similar reaction at a Canadian Football Game and at one of his own concerts, where he arrived late.
