While Kim Kardashian partied at her star-studded baby shower event, fans of the reality starlet were able to participate in the celebration by learning of the gender of her baby on the season premiere of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians."
In the episode Kim Kardashian, 32, her mother Kris Jenner and sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian-Odom visit Kim's doctor for the revealing sonogram.

"I am so excited to be having a girl, who doesn't want a girl," says the star.
"I know that's really what Kanye has always wanted," Kardashian says of her rapper boyfriend, Kanye West, 35. "He wanted a little girl."

Later on the episode, Kardashian is visibly upset at the idea of still being married to basketball player Kris Humphries now that she knows the gender of her baby with West.
Kardashian has since settled the nasty divorce battle with her ex-husband of 72 days.

Meanwhile, at Kardashians "garden brunch" baby shower, celebrities such as Melanie Brown, Kelly Osbourne, Nicole Richie, Nene Leakes and Maria Menounos were all in attendance.
Guests were told to wear "garden attire" for the buffet-style outdoor party. Prior to the event, invites were sent in lavish music boxes that played a lullaby version of West's song "Hey Mama" as a ballerina figurine twirled. Early rumors suggested a baby girl because of the invitation design.

West was seen attempting to sneak into the party, covering his face with his hoodie. It was reported that his family members would be attending as well.
Kardashian later tweeted about the event, saying ""WOW an amazing baby shower! So much luv there... Thank u."

"Truly such a special day," the mother-to-be continued. "I honestly feel so blessed and filled with so much love!"
